MC Furniture warrants it’s merchandise for the original customer for a period of (30) days from the date of delivery and reserve the right to be sole judge of the cause of any damage. The item defective in material or workmanship will be at our option repaired or replaced. Many items have extended Manufacture’s warranties.

Color and grain variations are natural characteristics of wood. We cannot guarantee that colors and grains on related pieces will be identical. There is no warranty on fabrics and leather wear and tear, color fastness, or dye lot variations.

Glass tops and glass items:

Federal Specifications that allow for small bubbles (smaller than 1/4" in diameter) minor waviness, and hairline scratches that are inherent in the manufacturing of glass. (Scratches must be able to be viewed from a distance of 3 feet when the glass is in a vertical position to be deemed unacceptable by industry standards, ASTM Designation C1036-91.) The nature of handcrafted glass may have any of these imperfections, which will serve to emphasize the individuality of your piece.

As with all fine glass, care must be exercised in cleaning to ensure years of lasting beauty. Tolerances: Please allow + or - 1/2" for all glass tops.

Handling: It is important to note that whenever glass furniture is moved either from one room to another location, completely disassemble the glass from the hardware to prevent damage or cracking. It is also recommended that the placement of glass furniture be on level, carpeted surfaces to insure surface contact with entire base structure. Other types of flooring are acceptable as long as they are level. Pads are recommended for use on rough flooring surfaces such as brick, marble, stone, tiles. 

Delivery:

By MC Furniture:

Payment in full required upon delivery to our warehouse. If required per customer's order our personnel assemble and place all merchandise in rooms according to customer request and remove all packaging materials from your home.

Due to insurance regulations our delivery personnel cannot move your existing furniture or electronic equipment or attach shelves, mirrors or paintings to your walls. In the event that our personnel choose to perform any such acts MC Furniture will not be liable for any damages incurred.

Please measure your rooms and doorways carefully before ordering the furniture. We are not responsible for ensuring that elevators, corridors, and doorways of your home or office permit delivery of your furniture. We are also not responsible if the furniture doesn’t fit in the room.

Our delivery personnel cannot remove their shoes since your floors might be slippery. Please make necessary precautions to protect your carpet or floors from stains.

If you are unable to keep the delivery time, please notify our office the day before delivery is scheduled to avoid double delivery charge.

Please inspect your furniture and sign the invoice verifying that you received the furniture in good conditions.

By Common Carrier:

Products that are small enough and light enough will be shipped via Fed Ex Ground or UPS services. This is usually a 3-5 business day service, after it has been picked up from our dock. Shipping quotes will depend on the order composition. Large furniture items and heavy ready to assemble items will be shipped by a long haul freight carrier. Shipping quotes will depend on the order composition. There are three levels of service. Not all products will have all shipping options available.

  1. Curbside Delivery - This shipping method is our standard shipping method. This is a delivery where the customer may have to help the driver remove the items from the truck. The driver is not responsible for moving the items into the house. There is no assembly service.
  2. Inside Delivery - This is a one-man "threshold" delivery where the driver will bring the items into the home. Placement, unpacking, and removal of packing and shipping materials will be performed by the customer. There is no assembly service.
  3. White Glove Delivery- This is the most expensive method which includes inside delivery and unpacking and assembly.

When your items arrive for delivery, please follow these steps:

  1. Inspect your merchandise before the driver leaves. If the driver refuses to wait for you to complete the inspection, make a notation on the bill, sign it with the following notation: " Truck Driver Refused to wait, possible damages".  The content may be damaged due to rough handling even if the carton may not show the external damage.
  2. If there is damage, write on the freight bill how many pieces and what kind of damage and call MC immediately at 440-585-7430. If the damage is to one or two items in your order, please accept the entire shipment and MC Furniture will advise you on how to proceed. Please refuse  the damaged items ONLY. If the entire order is damaged, please refuse the shipment, notating the damage on the freight bill and call MC immediately.
  3. If you fail to inspect the shipment at the time of delivery, MC Furniture will not be able to file a claim. And the claim will not be honored by both Common Carrier and MC Furniture. Absolutely no credit or replacement parts will be issued for damaged goods, if the bill has been signed clear. 
  4. You have to be at the place of delivery on time. If you are not there at the time the furniture is delivered the furniture might be shipped back to MC Furniture or stored in local warehouse for an additional fee. I case we have to ship it back to our warehouse you will be charged second delivery and re-stocking fee.

Delivery Date

The approximate delivery date is the date the item expected in our warehouse. We do not guarantee date as delays sometimes occur. We will notify you as soon as your order is available for delivery. We also do not guarantee the exact date and  time when the furniture is delivered to you by common carrier. We supply you with the tracking number and the phone number of the shipper and it is your responsibility to contact them. Usually shipping companies notify you about delivery time in advance.

Pick Up

Please call in advance for the pick up of your furniture. Specify if you need your furniture to be assembled. Please bring pads, rope and other packing material.

Orders on Hold

All orders to be held in our warehouse for more than a month is subject for payment in full and warehousing fee of 10% of purchase price will apply for each month thereafter.

Returns

Special Orders, custom making orders, clearance, final sale or “As is” items are not cancellable and deposit will not be refunded.  All acceptable return items must be in their original condition and are subject for pick up charges and restocking fee equal to 25% of the purchase price.
